Symphony in Green
The theme of the Ansfelden Garden Festival refers to the composer Anton Bruckner. Of all his work, his symphonies are especially well known. It is at the same time the location of the Ritzlhof School ("Schools for green professions"). Floral carpets, gardening ideas and children's games are complemented with music and sound at this Garden Festival. But the Garden Festival itself is a symphony in 4 movements:
1. Movement: Spring – allegro
Opening • Fruit tree blossoms • Tulips & daffodils • Lightness • Horticultural practice • School is underway
2. Movement: Early summer – scherzo
Roses & lavender • Music outdoors • Gardens to help plant • End of school • Halftime party
3. Movement: Summer holidays – adagio
Rest & relaxation • Playing at the water's edge • Holidays • Guest garden • Wind chimes • Holiday fun for the kids • Sunflowers & summer hat • Family outing
4. Movement: Autumn – finale
